Chatham, Medway, Kent. The Royal Prins Maurits of the Netherland arrives on board HNLMS Holland to commemorate the Battle of Medway at Upnor Castle in Kent today. The Battle of Medway took place in 1667 when the Dutch launched a daring assault on the British upon the River Medway at Chatham destroying the whole fleet

Manston International Airport in Thanet, Kent was closed on 15th May 2014. Today almost 2 and a half years later and after a range of different business ideas from continuing as an airport to a lorry park to a housing estate the airport still lays dormant.

I've been travelling to the Basque city of San Sebastian in the north of Spain since I was 4 months old. One of the many aspects of Donostia is the people and their way of life, visits to the beach, world-famous food and the art of "paseando". Every day between 5pm and 8pm whole families would come out to promenade along Las Concha.

As part of my Photographer in Residence project at Riverhill Himalayan Gardens I had noticed all the dens that kids and parents are encouraged to build in the chestnut woods. What fascinated me was how they looked once they were abandoned at the end of each day. Impressed with the variety of designs from a simple log to an intricate multi-roofed edifice I wanted to record them before they were set to change all over again the next day.
